Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken Recipe

This creamy recipe is versatile as you can serve the sauce with rice, pasta, or bread. Whichever you choose, this sauce is perfect for any meal of the day.  

 

 Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients:  

8 E&L Chicken Leg Fillets   

½ tsp. of dried thyme  

½ tsp. of rosemary  

1 tsp. of onion powder  

1 tsp. of garlic powder  

Salt and pepper  

2 tbsp. of olive oil  

  

 

For The Sauce:  

1 tbsp. of Arla butter  

1 1/2 cups of heavy cream   

1/2 cup of parmesan cheese  

250g of mushrooms, sliced  

4 cloves of garlic, minced   

1 tbsp. of parsley, chopped  

 

 

Directions:  

  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Mix the dry ingredients all together including the herbs, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken with the mixed seasoning.  
  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden browned. Set aside.  
  1. In the same skillet, put the butter and mushrooms. Stir in and season with salt and pepper. Add the garlic, thyme, rosemary, and parsley, and sauté everything together. Pour in the cream and reduce the heat. Once the sauce has thickened, add the parmesan cheese. Return the chicken to the pan and add more salt and pepper according to your taste. Top with fresh parsley.
