Pork Giniling Recipe
As we love sweet foods such as Filipino-style spaghetti, Picadillo, and Pinoy-style Lasagna, we’re gonna be sharing with you one of the most popular pork recipes here in the country--- definitely among favorites, Pork Giniling!
Ingredients:
500g of E&L Ground Pork
½ cup of Arla salted butter
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup of green peas
1 carrot, diced
1 potato, diced
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 onion, diced
5 tbsp. of tomato sauce
2 tbsp. of tomato paste
1 ½ tbsp. of soy sauce
1 tbsp. of oil
1 tbsp. of calamansi or lime juice
½ cup of water
1 cup of cheese, grated
6 pcs. of hard-boiled eggs, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Heat oil and sauté onion and garlic in a pan over medium heat. Pour in the tomato sauce and tomato paste. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes, then add the E&L Ground Pork. Cook until slightly brown. Then add water and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce and calamansi or lime juice. Season with salt and pepper, then cook for 10 minutes. Once done, add the butter and simmer for a few more minutes.
- Add the bell peppers, potatoes, and carrots. Simmer for 5 more minutes to ensure that all the vegetables are cooked. Add the grated cheese, green peas, and hard-boiled eggs. Cook for a few more minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
