Pork Giniling Recipe

As we love sweet foods such as Filipino-style spaghetti, Picadillo, and Pinoy-style Lasagna, we’re gonna be sharing with you one of the most popular pork recipes here in the country--- definitely among favorites, Pork Giniling!

Pork Giniling

Ingredients:

500g of E&L Ground Pork

½ cup of Arla salted butter

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 cup of green peas

1 carrot, diced

1 potato, diced

3 cloves of garlic, minced

1 onion, diced

5 tbsp. of tomato sauce

2 tbsp. of tomato paste

1 ½ tbsp. of soy sauce

1 tbsp. of oil

1 tbsp. of calamansi or lime juice

½ cup of water

1 cup of cheese, grated

6 pcs. of hard-boiled eggs, sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat oil and sauté onion and garlic in a pan over medium heat. Pour in the tomato sauce and tomato paste. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes, then add the E&L Ground Pork. Cook until slightly brown. Then add water and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Pour in the soy sauce and calamansi or lime juice. Season with salt and pepper, then cook for 10 minutes. Once done, add the butter and simmer for a few more minutes.
  3. Add the bell peppers, potatoes, and carrots. Simmer for 5 more minutes to ensure that all the vegetables are cooked. Add the grated cheese, green peas, and hard-boiled eggs. Cook for a few more minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
