Shrimp Pad Thai Recipe

Pad Thai is a popular street food in Thailand. This authentic Thai cuisine dish combines sweet, tangy, and salty taste, making it exceptional.  

 

 

 

Ingredients:  

300g of E&L Shrimp  

250g of rice noodles  

3 tbsp. of vegetable oil  

100g of fresh beansprouts  

3 cloves of garlic, chopped  

3 chilies, chopped  

3 tbsp. of brown sugar  

6 tbsp. of tamarind paste  

3 tbsp. of fish sauce  

2 tsp. of light soy sauce  

3 eggs, beaten  

½ onion chives, chopped  

 

For serving 

Roasted and ground peanuts, chopped  

Lime wedges  

Coriander  

 

Directions:  

  1. Soak the rice noodles in a bowl and cover them with warm water for 10 minutes. In a wok, heat oil and sauté the garlic and chili for 2 to 3 minutes. Add in the sugar, tamarind paste mixed with 3 tbsp. of water, fish sauce, and light soy sauce. Transfer the sauce to a bowl.  
  1. In the same wok, heat the oil and cook the shrimp for about a minute. Push the shrimp to the side and add the eggs. Stir the scrambled eggs and add the beansprouts and noodles. Mix everything together and pour the sweetened tamarind sauce. Add in the chives and serve with lime wedges, peanuts, and coriander.
