Sinigang Na Bangus

Here’s a quick trivia for you! Did you know that last our Filipino favorite sinigang was hailed by Taste Atlas for 2021 as the best soup with a rating of 4.63 out of 5! Since it’s the Lenten season, let’s learn how to cook our favorite sinigang using E&L’s boneless bangus!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 E&L Boneless Bangus
  • 1 pouch sinigang powder mix or tamarind juice (fresh)
  • 4-5 cups of water
  • 2-3 siling panigang
  • 2 tomatoes (quartered)
  • 2 onions (quartered)
  • 1 labanos (sliced diagonally)
  • 4pcs okra (cut into halves)
  • 1 bunch kangkong leaves
  • Salt or patis to taste

Cooking instructions:

  1. Boil water with the sinigang powder mix. Once boiling, add tomatoes, onions, tomatoes, labanos, okra, siling panigang. Cook for a few mins, and add E&L’s Boneless Bangus. After a few mins. Add kangkong.
  2. Cooking until done and serve!
