Sinigang Na Bangus
Here’s a quick trivia for you! Did you know that last our Filipino favorite sinigang was hailed by Taste Atlas for 2021 as the best soup with a rating of 4.63 out of 5! Since it’s the Lenten season, let’s learn how to cook our favorite sinigang using E&L’s boneless bangus!
What you’ll need:
- 1 E&L Boneless Bangus
- 1 pouch sinigang powder mix or tamarind juice (fresh)
- 4-5 cups of water
- 2-3 siling panigang
- 2 tomatoes (quartered)
- 2 onions (quartered)
- 1 labanos (sliced diagonally)
- 4pcs okra (cut into halves)
- 1 bunch kangkong leaves
- Salt or patis to taste
Cooking instructions:
- Boil water with the sinigang powder mix. Once boiling, add tomatoes, onions, tomatoes, labanos, okra, siling panigang. Cook for a few mins, and add E&L’s Boneless Bangus. After a few mins. Add kangkong.
- Cooking until done and serve!
